In the Heart of Creation with Jesus - Retreat Team
Contemplating our relationship with Creation is an imperative for us all in these troubled times. This team retreat seeks to inspire our careful involvement in such work. As we attune our hearts to the heart of creation, in its beauty and its destruction, we will become more aware of the cries of our world, and, the ever present possibilities for a ‘new creation.’ With the Word of God, we will let Jesus teach us afresh how to live from the depths of Trinitarian Love. And with the encouragement of Pope Francis and the 10 things he wants us to know about the environment, we seek to better understand that care for the environment is an underlying spiritual calling at the heart of our faith today.
Reflection topics include:
Day 1 Listening to the cry of the World

environment”.
Day 3 The Word of God in Creation
Day 4 Creation and the Word of God in Scripture
Day 5 Praying in Creation: A Walking Meditation
Day 6 Learning from Wisdom in Creation
Day 7 We are Co-Creators
Day 8 Quiet Reflection - Remembering the Pope’s 10
